Event date: September 26, 2015 at Newport Skatepark:
The official opening of the almost finished Newport skatepark is going to be on Saturday the 26th of September. The event will run from 11:30 to 16:30. If the weather is too wet it will be postponed until the following day with a reduced size event.
The plan is to have a grand opening at 12:00, a best trick competition from 13:30.
There will be a DJ planning our ultimate skate music mix to get you motivated to skate, a bouncy castle and play bus for the younger kids.
There should also be stalls for food and drink and if you are interested in being involved then please get in touch.
In the evening there will be a big party down at the newly renovated Newport, with bands playing in the evening. Get in touch via the NSPC Facebook page at facebook.com/NewportSkateParkCollective if you want to help with the event or if you want a ticket for the evening event: £5 in advance.
