UK Championships 2011

Event date: October 23, 2011:

The UKSA has organised this years UK Champs. There is a change of venue from the usual Corby to to the new park in Hemel Hempstead. This is just north of London so it will be another healthy drive for the Scots to get down the event this year. The park has an indoor concrete bowl so well worth a mission to that. The dates are confirmed as the 22nd and 23rd of October 2011. Mark the Calendar and get over the Skateboard Scotland Forum to register your interest for a potential minibus mission here:

Skateboard Scotland are once again sponsors for the event and here are some further deatails about the event.

This is the 4th year
now so I’m sure most of you know the drill. Please note our nice clean new
venue! And it’s closer to London so some of you lazy hits are expected to
attend this year!

Prize money breakdown
TBC, there will be a £10 nominal entry fee for competitors this year. As there’s
no Vert this year there’s more prize money and it will go down to 20th place to
reflect this.


Saturday Night after
party venue TBC.


The venue has a large
spectator capacity but there’s a limited amount of skate/spectate tickets
available (35 places). This will you to skate the pool/bowl and mini ramp all
day, watch the comp, have a ringside view and allow you to skate in the pool jam
