here it is from the sidewalk forum!
Right, as Sidcup is still waiting on sponsor confirmation I thought I'd better put the raw info up here as time is marching on.
Saturday 21st/ Sunday 22nd February - War of the Roses 4 at The Works, Leeds and Rampcity, Blackpool
The fourth installment of WOTR will be taking place on the last weekend of the February school holidays with the Saturday happening at The Works, Leeds and the Sunday at Rampcity, Blackpool (so as to make it easier for the Scots to get home). As ever there will be both unsponsored and sponsored/pro categories and the comps will work on a ‘best trick’ basis on various obstacles around both parks. Hopefully the proposed mini ramp complex at The Works will be finished in time which, along with Simparch bowl and full pipe at Blackpool, should make for an interesting change from the traditionally street orientated vibe of the event. Sponsors and prize money are still in the process of being confirmed but expect cash for each day and plenty of product for the unsponsored comps.
Keep your eyes peeled for more details as they appear.
See you there! |

Here is the deal for the minbus:
25 quid for the journey (there and back)
Skateboard Scotland will NOT be sorting you out anywhere to stay on the Saturday night! Please ensure that you have something arranged as there will be no-one allowed to stay in the minibus overnight.
Bus will be leaving from Edinburgh Focus at 9am to Leeds. Onto Blackpool from Leeds leaving at 10.30 Sunday. On the way back we can do a drop off in Glasgow and then one in Edinburgh hopefully by midnight.
25 quid cash can be deposited with focus to reserve your place. There are currently 9 places left on the bus so be quick!
See you then.

any chance of booking another bus? I've been too late but the guy in focus said 4 or 5 other people had already asked and been too late so it seems like there should be enough demand to fill another one up. _________________ Mark Murray |
