A few weekends ago the UK Independent Vert series wound up with a climactic Seaside Session at Ramp City in Blackpool. Sam Beckett made a rare UK appearance and romped to first place with his usual perfect mix of lip tricks and big airs.

In the overall series results Oakleys third place was enough for him to seize victory in the A-Group over the injured Shaun Goff. A B-Group victory was deservedly claimed by Hem who rode like a wild man the whole series and is quite frankly lucky to not spend most of his life in hospital!
It was rad to add the Scottish leg to the series this year but a shame that London is now without a vert ramp!
